Please Sign Up For Only One Kistler Outing For Now. If space is available after Feb. 1, then you will be allowed to sign up for another Kistler outing. 

Kistler Bass Ranch – only 2 1/2 hours away - is a ONE DAY OUTING.  Kistler Ranch offers three ponds with largemouth bass and bluegill. Fishing can be done from a float tube, kayak, pontoon boat, or by wading along the banks. Experience with personal crafts recommended. These ponds are catch and release only. We use 5–7 wt. rods and standard barbed poppers, Umpqua frogs and other topwater lures.  Wooly buggers and other streamers are effective subsurface.

An Outing Description and a link to DVFF Bass 101 video will be emailed to registered and paid members. 
 
Kistler Ranch is located 18 miles east of Oakdale, Calif., on highway 108. For early anglers, the ranch gate opens at 6 a.m. Inexpensive lodging available at Railtown Motel in Jamestown. Coast Guard approved Personal Flotation Devices are required by the club on all watercraft.

The ranch access fee will be $35 per participant.
